WESPaC

GLs 820
and 520
Balances
When
closing
your
books
for the
2007-08
fiscal
year,
once all
adjusting
transactions
have
been
completed,
including
liquidation
of
purchase
orders,
your Balance
Sheet
reports
will
show
beginning
balances
in GLs
820 and
520.
Unlike
in WISE
where
both
balances
become
zero,
the net
result
in
WESPaC
is used
instead.
GL 520
will be
a
negative
number
and GL
820
should
be a
positive
number
in the
same
amount.
Do not
create a
Journal
Entry to
correct
this. It
is an
expected
balance
in these
two
accounts
in
WESPaC.
