TIP of the Week:

Web Access Speed - In recent performance tests Skyward has indicated that Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) performs noticeable faster than Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). Skyward attributes the markedly better performance to an improved Java Script engine in IE8, and highly recommends that users of IE7 upgrade to IE8 to take advantage of these improvements.

In case you are wondering if your desktop has been updated to IE8…this may be helpful:
Open up Internet Explorer – click Help – About Internet Explorer – to find out which version of IE you have.

Use this link to install IE8: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx

 2010-2011 Release Downtime  Schedule  MCj04257400000[1]

The Release Downtime Schedule is revised due to a change in our software delivery schedule. This impacts when the DF Releases will be installed. The DFs will be installed in February and July of 2011, instead of the originally scheduled March and August 2011 timeframes.

Release Down Time is from 3am to 9pm on each designated Saturday. However, most releases will be complete before noon on Saturday. Data Centers will be returned to production as soon as the release is complete.
The exception to this will be the DF releases that occur twice a year. The Release Down Time for a DF will be from 3am Saturday until 9am Sunday.
