DESCRIPTION:During this 1.5-hour\, online ZOOM session\, the workshop will provide an overview of the Conference module. A demonstration will cover security considerations and basic setup for conferences. You’ll see views from the office side\, the family side\, and the teacher’s side of the software. There will be some Q & A time at the end. \nZoom Model:  For this ZOOM session (to fully participate we recommend having a headset with Mic or speakers and mic on the computer). To ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your attendance\, please find a quiet place while attending this session allowing you to fully participate without interruption. \nTarget Audience: Possible users of the Conference module – district coordinators\, office staff\, teachers\, admins\, etc.

SUMMARY:Attendance Letters Part 1 of 2 - Online Session
DESCRIPTION:This 3 hour online workshop on the setup for attendance letters in SMS 2.0. Attendees will; view examples of unexcused absence letters\, excessive (chronic) absence letters and excessive tardy letters. In addition\, attendees will discuss and create necessary codes\, Thresholds\, Letter Attendance Types and Date Range Codes. Custom Attendance Letters (layout/merge) templates are discussed with an opportunity to clone from other users. Required homework is to complete the modifications to your Custom Attendance Letter (layout/merge) templates. \nZoom Model:  This is a (hands-on style) ZOOM session (to fully participate users should have access to two screens – one to see the presenter’s screen and a second to have a screen to work in their data\, headset with Mic or speakers and mic on the computer). \nTarget Audience: Attendance secretaries; BECCA/Discipline personnel \nPrerequisites : User should be proficient at Attendance entry and/or have attended a Basic Attendance training. \nCoRequisite : Attendance Letters Part 2 of 2

SUMMARY:Conference Scheduler Overview SMS 2.0 - Online Session
DESCRIPTION:This 3 hour\, online-only workshop will give an overview of the Conference Scheduler features in Skyward. Conference Scheduler permits the creation of conference time slots for teachers. Guardians can either be signed up or sign themselves up to meet with their students’ teachers. A report that shows a teacher’s schedule of conferences can be generated and reminder auto emails can also be configured. We will demonstrate the different views from teacher\, parents and office personnel perspectives.Zoom Model: This is a (hands-on style) ZOOM session (to fully participate users should have access to two screens – one to see the presenter’s screen and a second to have a screen to work in their data\, headset with Mic or speakers and mic on the computer).
